A short-form event video featuring animated text, coordinated fade transitions and subtle upward movement. Created in Adobe After Effects using original footage captured as crowds departed EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.
A Short Visual Story
Combining footage I captured during New Jersey’s January and February 2026 snowstorms with earlier scenes of blackbirds taking flight and an airplane crossing a clear Oshkosh sky. Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro, the video moves from the stillness and isolation of a record-setting winter storm to movement, release and flight.
Purpose: To transform independently captured moments into a cohesive visual narrative.
Audience: General digital and social media audiences.
My role: Concept development, filming, footage selection, sequencing and video editing.
Software: Adobe Premiere Pro.

The result? A tribute that went viral, reaching hundreds of thousands and inspiring audiences worldwide.
This experience speaks to the magic of digital storytelling: with the right materials, a creative vision, and a keen understanding of audience, any story—no matter how fleeting—can be transformed into something unforgettable.
